The pretreatment enclosure is for Flow Through RAEGuard 2 PID outdoors in wet or dusty air: a first-stage Teflon cartridge knocks out dust, a second-stage CaCl₂ tube dries the sample, a water trap under the box catches liquid, then gas reaches DigiPID. The box also shades and weathers the host.

Kit D03-0014-C00 does not include the detector — order D03-0004-C00 / D03-0005-C00. CaCl₂ adsorbs some VOCs, so this drying path is for benzene, toluene and xylene only. For heavier vapours such as gasoline or diesel, skip the salt and use filtration plus the water trap.

1. Mount the host in the boxFix the Flow Through transmitter in the enclosure with two M6×10 socket screws. Sensor pointing down. Host fastened in the enclosure with two screws

2. Inlet and outlet tubesTwo loose PTFE tubes: the longer one to inlet IN, the other to the outlet. Do not reverse them. Flow Through inlet and outlet

3. Clamp to the riserUse the host U-bolts to hang the enclosure on a 2″ riser. Box bottom at least 30 cm above grade. Install layout, box at least 30 cm above grade

4. Fill CaCl₂Unscrew the second-stage Teflon cartridge, load 6–9 bags with the non-woven wrap removed, transparent face out, then refit the cartridge. Strip the CaCl₂ wrap before filling

5. Knock-outs for wiringTap out the left and right knock-out plates before pulling cable. Do not hammer the box. Side knock-out and bottom ports

6. Fit the water trapPush the trap hose from the detector carton onto the inlet. Skip the trap and liquid reaches the lamp window. Water-trap hose on the inlet

Box about 500 × 410 × 184 mm; about 581 mm tall with mounting ears, about 193 mm deep with the door. Cable entry on the side, sample ports on the bottom.

Интервал обслуживания

Check on the table after a new install. Use the short end of each range in hot, wet or dusty outdoor air. After a CaCl₂ change, two-point calibrate with the filters in line.

Yellow or swollen bags are spent. Do not touch the lamp window. Other work follows the host manual; before swapping DigiPID, enter sensor-replace mode with the magnetic wand so the sensor is powered down.
